On Tuesday for our ‘Knights and Princesses’ day, Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed a visit from a real Knight. The children all came dressed as princesses, knights and even a dragon! They participated in a variety of different activities including sword fighting, wearing armour and medieval clothing, sketching artefacts, handling weapons and even firing a cannon using gunpowder. Luckily Mr. Worrall was nearby to light the cannon. Much fun was had by all, and our ears are all still ringing from the cannon!
