Reception were very lucky to have a perfect sunny day for their autumn visit to Hillier Education Centre. We spent the morning walking through the gardens exploring colour, form and texture, stopping to take part in several activities. The children gathered leaves and sorted them into colour groups, created a cosy home for a small furry creature and hunted for mini beasts. After a delicious picnic we were off again, this time collecting fruits and seeds for a ‘bird’s breakfast’. We finished our day with everyone’s favourite -pond dipping!
