Extra-curricular Clubs ‘back on’ at Stroud

We are pleased to announce that most of our extra-curricular clubs are now back on, being run in COVID-safe bubble groups.

Children are enjoying Forest School, Farm Club, and KS1 children are delighted to enjoy their hugely-anticipated ballet club for our Darcey Bussell ‘wannabes’. In Lego Club they have all been learning about motors and mechanical systems using Lego technics and in Design Technology they have been making outdoor gliders to understand how aeroplanes fly.

Lessons are still also continuing with a full-academic timetable, along with sporting fixtures and team building events. Despite no organised open mornings due to the pandemic, Stroud is showing COVID-safe individually run tours for prospective parents, where visitors are thrilled to see that life at Stroud has a heavy dose of outdoor activity, the buzz of creative arts, competitive sport and a strong academic tradition and route to King Edward VI. Visitors are also genuinely impressed by the children who display that all important Stroud Spirit: children are articulate, confident, well-mannered and considerate. Our children continue to strive for the high ideals of our motto, in aeternum intrepidus – forever undaunted!

Spaces are available at Stroud and the school is running COVID-safe individually run tours. To register your interest please contact 01794 528360.
