Stroud School is a gently selective, co-educational independent day school for children from 3 to 13 years of age.

We understand that choosing a school can sometimes seem a daunting experience but we hope the website gives you a glimpse of what makes Stroud special.  Children attend our school from all over Hampshire, Wiltshire and the New Forest and our bus service offers flexibility to those living within these areas.  Bursaries and scholarships are available to eligible pupils for entry into Year 7.

We will be holding Open Events throughout March where you can find out more about life at Stroud and to meet our Headmistress Mrs Smith.

A Virtual Information Evening with the Heads

We regularly hold information evenings, and this year held a virtual information evening, providing information and insight into Stroud and our Senior school King Edward VI School, and what makes them so special, an outline on school life and the 3-18 educational experience offered. Chaired by King Edward’s Registrar, Mrs Sheppard, the event was streamed live from our state-of-the-art Dobson Theatre and we were joined by Mrs Smith, Headmistress of Stroud and Mr Parker, Head of King Edward’s. We invite you to watch a recording of the session, which can be found below.
